These high leverage, highly durable 9" leather shears have wide blades for cutting leather, rubber, etc. One blade is corrugated to help grip material while cutting. The barrel spring opens the blades after each cut, but the leather shear stays closed with a latch which is close to the blades. The total length is 9", and the blade length is 2". These shears are forged by Wasa, a small company dedicated to quality in Solingen, Germany. Forging makes the metal harder so the scissor stays sharp longer.
