This two piece Wasa gold stork set comes gift-boxed with a gold-plated thimble. Both scissors have gold-plated handles and nickel-plated wings and beak, all of which are beautifully finished with elaborate detail. The fine, well-made points are excellent for intricate cutting, embroidery, fine needlework and other sewing applications.
The embroidery scissors measure 3-1/2" in total length and have a blade length of 1", and the larger scissors measure 6-1/2 and have a blade length of 1-7/8". They are forged in Solingen, Germany. The forging process makes the metal harder so that the scissors stay sharp longer.
