This Global cheese knife is designed for cutting soft cheeses, because the knife's skeletal structure prevents soft cheese from sticking to the blade. The blade is 5.5" (14 cm) long, and it is serrated for added slicing ability, This cheese knife has a fork tip to pick up cheese chunks or cheese slices for easy, gracious serving.
Global knives are crafted by hand in Niijata, Japan. The blades utilize molybdenum/vanadium stainless steel, ice tempered and hardened to Rockwell C 56-58 degrees. The slim Global design aids mobility and is comfortable for the smaller hand. The handle is welded to make a totally seamless tool, and smooth contours assure the ultimate in hygiene. The textured handle gives a positive grip even when the hand is wet.
