How to replace the blades on the Wiss
Quick-Clip speed cutter and reset the points: 1. Holding the
Quick-Clip firmly, remove the large screw (a.) Caution: the
spring between the frames may pop out when the screw is removed. 2.
Remove four small screws. Insert new blades and replace screws.
Reassemble by inserting spring in the front frame over the stud.
Replace the back frame and hold in a closed position. Insert the
large screw and tighten to desired tension. After installing new
blades and reassembling the Quick-Clip, the points normally
need to be reset. Close the cutter to check for blade cross-over.
Roll up some cloth material that will be difficult to cut with the Wiss
Quick-Clip. Place the material between the blades and attempt to cut
the material by squeezing firmly. Remove the material and close the
blades. If the blades still cross over, repeat the procedure with rolled
up material between the blades, applying slightly more pressure until the
proper point alignment is achieved. |
