Wiss Florist Scissors (also called Florist Shears) are used extensively for wire cutting by florists, with serrated blades for better grip of material. These are high leverage shears, that are hot drop-forged of commercial finish solid steel, with nickel-plated blades and a black enamel handle.  They measure 8-1/2" overall. 

Since 1848, Wiss has manufactured a quality line of cutting tools in Statesboro, Georgia.  Wiss scissors and shears are extremely popular in garment, automotive trim and other sewing factories and are found in industrial applications everywhere.
