True left hand (lefty) sewing-related scissors and shears,
including straight shears, bent (offset) shears, sewing scissors and
pinking shears. "True" left-hand scissors have blades completely

True left hand (lefty) scissors and shears for general
purpose and household use. Useful for cutting cardboard, paper, fabric,
tape, film, and many other materials. However, as is true with all
scissors, cutting materials other than fabric may dull the blades more
quickly. "True" left-hand scissors have blades completely
re-oriented for the lefty, as opposed to only contouring the handles for
the left hand. For prices and inventory, please click on the picture on the right to go to our On-line Sales Website. |

"True" left-hand (lefty) nail scissors and cuticle scissors
forged in Solingen, Germany. Forging makes the metal harder so the
scissor stays sharp longer. These "lefty" manicure scissors have a
closed shank (the length of the handles between the joint and the rings)
which is an indicator of high quality scissors. It takes precision and
detailed hand work to make the shank fit smoothly together. These
manicure scissors are also adjustable and can be fine-tuned when that
becomes necessary. These left hand nail scissors are sturdy, with a
larger stronger screw and curved blades. The left hand cuticle scissor
has thin curved blades.

Left-HANDLED shear , which is different from a
left-HANDED shear. Heimerdinger Cutlery primarily carries true left-hand
scissors and shears. Currently, we have just one shear that is
left-handled. The blades are arranged for right-handed use but the
handles are contoured for the left hand. Some shears are sold "for the
right or the left hand," but that means the blades are really arranged
for right-hand pressure. For prices and inventory, please click on the picture on the right to go to our On-line Sales Website. |
