These Mundial "Red Dot" premium 8-1/2" bent shears are "true" left-hand scissors with blades that are completely re-oriented for the lefty, as opposed to only contouring the handles for the left hand. "Red Dot" premium scissors are lightweight and durable, featuring stainless steel blades, matte black non-slip polypropylene handles and an adjustable pivot assembly.
These left hand scissors have knife-edge blades, which means the lower blade has been ground to a 40-45 degree bevel for a greatly enhanced cutting sharpness. This Mundial knife edge features a precision cut blade that glades through multiple layers of fabric easily and cleanly to the very tip.
These are bent (offset) shears, which are designed for cutting on a flat surface such as a table. They are appropriate for general dressmaking sewing for all weight fabrics of natural and synthetic fibers. These scissors are also excellent for general household use. They measure 8-1/2" in overall length, and have a 3-1/8" length of cut.
