These industrial quality Mundial 8" knife edge shears have strong, long-lasting blades that give durable performance for industrial sewing. The knife edged blade aids in cutting muliple layers of fabric easily and cleanly to the very tip. They are also excellent for all-purpose home use. These shears are nickel-plated with black enameled handles. They have a bent or offset handle which is designed for easier cutting on a table or other flat surface. One ring is larger than the other to allow a stronger grip for heavier cutting applications. The scissors are hot drop forged, which makes the metal harder so the scissors will stay sharp longer. These heavy duty shears are also called bent trimmers. They are 8" in overall length, and the length of cut is 3-1/2". (The original model number was #455-8)
