Knife sharpening is both an art and a science. We at Heimerdinger Cutlery have been sharpening knives for over 100 years. We use only the best methods for sharpening our customers' knives. We do NOT use any automated sharpening machines or time-saving devices. Why? Because they just do not work as well as our traditional 3 step process of grinding, polishing, and honing that results in perfect edge each and every time.

Our Mail-In Knife Sharpening Program
For those of you who don't have access to a high-quality knife sharpening service nearby, we now offer our convenient mail-in service! How does it work? Simple:
1. Order either the "Up to 15" or "Up to 8" Knife Sharpening packages from our store (click here to see the details and pricing, and add to your cart). The price of the package includes absolutely everything you need to get your knives to our store, sharpened, and returned to you! We make it extremely simple.
2. We will deliver to you our knife sharpening package that will include the box, materials, and directions you need to safely pack your knives. We even include a pre-paid return shipping label. Simply pack your knives according to the instructions, seal the box, slap on the shipping label, and take to your nearest FedEx Ground location. The delivery time to our store will vary between 1 to 4 days, depending on your location.
We provide everything you need to pack your knives and send them to our store. See the video below for the super simple process!
3. Once we have your knives, we will sharpen and ship it back to you. Your knives will arrive neatly packaged and better than new! Keep the box and materials for your next sharpening and get our discounted "Loyal Customer" price!
