The mug measures 4" high with a top diameter of 3-3/4". Since mustache mugs are designed for drinking, and are not shaving mugs, no soap is included.
Mustache cups were invented in England in the early 1800's when mustaches were popular. A cup with a mounted plate and a drinking hole on the inner upper part would prevent a man's mustache from drooping into his beverage and getting wet.
