Product Description:

These beautifully chrome-plated, 12" long Gingher shears are mirror-glossy and handsome enough for a ribbon-cutting ceremony. They are of course excellent for sewing and general dressmaking of all weight fabrics of natural and synthetic fibers. They are also used in industry when a very sharp scissors are needed. They are knife-edge scissors, which means that the lower blade has been ground to a 40-45 degree bevel for a greatly enhanced cutting sharpness. They are chrome-plated overall and are 12" in total length. These are bent (offset) shears, which are designed for cutting on a flat surface such as a table. Gingher scissors are forged, which makes the metal harder so the scissor stays sharp longer. They are assembled and finished in the United States.
