These 10" Gingher dressmaker's shears are a heavy pattern bent trimmers that are appropriate for general dressmaking for all weight fabrics of natural and synthetic fibers. They have knife-edge blades, which means the lower blade has been ground to a 40-45 degree bevel for a greatly enhanced cutting sharpness. They measure 10" in overall length. They are chrome-plated and beautifully finished. These are bent (offset) shears, which are designed for cutting on a flat surface such as a table. Gingher scissors are forged, which makes the metal harder so the scissor stays sharp longer. They are assembled and finished in the United States.
