The following information comes with the package:
To replace the battery, remove the 4 screws from the bottom of the Photon and flip case over so switch is on the top. Carefully separate the top and bottom case. Remove the clear slide switch. Hold the bulb down with one finger and lift lead (wire) just enough to remove batteries. Install new battery or batteries. Replace slide switch on slightly raised lead. Position top case so slide switch extends through hole and close case. Flip over and replace screws. Do not change bulb leads except for raising enough to replace batteries.
Operational tip: the switch will slide much easier when not squeezing at the same time. If light flickers, gently wipe the leads with a soft tissue, being careful not to distort their shape. For a snappier switch, carefully raise the lead (wire) 25 to 30 degrees and reassemble.
