These true left hand Dovo nail scissors are stainless steel with a satin finish, and will not rust. They have curved blades. They measure 3-1/2" in total length, and the blades cut 3/4".
These "true" left-hand scissors have blades completely re-oriented for the lefty, as opposed to only contouring the handles for the left hand.
Compared to nail scissors, cuticle scissors are smaller and more delicate, with a tiny screw that may loosen and even break if the scissors are used to cut fingernails. Nail scissors are more sturdy, with a larger, stronger screw and shank.
These true left-hand nail scissors are forged by Dovo in Solingen, Germany. Forging makes the metal harder so the scissors stay sharp longer. (Inexpensive nail scissors are made from soft metal that will not hold an edge.) These quality cuticle scissors have a screw and are adjustable, and can be fine-tuned when that becomes necessary.
