Wüsthof Butter Curler
is an excellent stainless steel garnishing tool to make fancy curls
of butter for decorating food dishes, as well as small balls of butter. It
works best on a stick of butter that has been chilled but then has warmed
slightly so the butter curl will not be too brittle. The butter curler
must be dipped in warm or hot water and then drawn across the top of the
butter stick. Place the carved curls in a container of ice water to keep
them curled. Refrigerate them in the water until just before they are
served. A butter curler can also be used to make curls of candle wax for
